PreK-12 Classroom Curriculum

RULER includes a developmentally appropriate and comprehensive curriculum and core routines that build students’ emotional intelligence within their experience of the world. RULER curriculum is standards-aligned, includes opportunities to engage families, and seamlessly integrates into existing academic content.
Elementary School
- 18 units per grade
- 4 lessons per unit
- ~45 min lessons on emotion literacy and self-regulation
Middle School
- 5 units per grade
- 4 lessons per unit
- 30-45 min lessons that integrate with studies/history, math, science, digital/fine arts, and physical education
High School
- 4-year curriculum
- 20 lessons per year
- 45-60 min lessons for advisory, health class, or flex/college counseling period
